We are currently recruiting for an experienced and skilled/semi skilled carpenter /passive fire related services technician to work Nationwide.
Full training will be provided. Company van and phone will also be provided.

Fire Services Technician:

Job Purpose: Answerable to the Site Manager and Director, work as part of a team providing installation, testing and maintenance services to clients nationwide.

Responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

– Fire Door Testing, Maintenance and Remedial Works.

– Gathering of photos and data for reporting purposes with our company reporting app software in a timely manner

– Adhere to company and client’s protocol and policies.

– Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.

– Proactive and the ability to work on own initiative when problem solving

– Confident in dealing with complaints and customer service issues.

– Maintain van, equipment and all company assets in good condition at all times.

Requirements:

– Qualified Carpenter
 Minimum 2 years practical experience in carpentry. Training will be provided also.

– Previous experiencing working with fire door inspections, installations and remedials preferrable

– Fluent English (both written and oral).
– Physically fit and capable of working from ladders.
– Full clean drivers license.

– Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Team player.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
– General IT/Smart Phone knowledge (position requires successful candidate to work off a smart phone/tablet/laptop)
– Work a percentage of nights shifts and be available to work nationwide with overnights.
– May be required to do an occasional overnight depending on the project.
– Punctual
– Well presented as you will be the customer facing representative for the company
