All of our service teams are qualified and competent persons for the inspection and test of fire dampers.
Mechanical dampers and automated dampers are all cleaned, inspected and reported in accordance with current industry standards.
Our Fire Door Assessment team have undergone extensive training and certification to become Fully Certified Inspectors through both the FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) and BM TRADA, in the maintenance of Fire Doors. This offers reassurance to our clients that the product they have installed has been maintained correctly and should perform as intended.
During our thorough inspection, each damper will be examined thoroughly with a thorough inspection report issued to you after the service detailing the findings on each damper tested including details of wear and tear, recommended maintenance or repairs required, a plan for resolving access issues, fixings or fire stopping to each area, and proposed retesting dates if needed.
All dampers are asset tagged, photographed, cleaned and drop tested and detailed in a full report utilising our bespoke software package. Our clients can receive these detailed reports within 72 hours of onsite project completion. All VSS Ireland site works are overseen by our experienced contract management team and service delivery department.
